A Case of Corrected Transposition of Great Arteries Associated with Ebstein¢¥s Anomaly of the left sided Tricuspid Valve and Ventricular Septal Defect

Abstract
Congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries is defined as the combination of atrioventricular discordance and transposition of the great arteries. Atrioventricular discordance implies that the morphologically right atrium drains into the morphologically left ventricle and the morphologically left atrium into the morphologically right ventricule.
Transposition requires that both great arteries originate from morphologically inappropriate ventricles. The symptoms of the patients with corrected transposition are related to the associated lesions.
Authors have experienced a case of corrected transposition of the great vessels, associated with Ebstein¢¥s anomaly of the left sided tricuspid valve and ventricular septal defect in a 8 ?year old male patient, as confirmed by 2D-echocardiogram and cardiac angiography.
Report of a case is presented with a review of the pertinent literatures.
